Modified Ker 11.5 PEACEMAKER

Peacemaker arrived at NEKA in poor condition in the fall of 2017. She was raced hard, and when signs of structural failure started to show, she was left on the hard.

After several years on dry land, the original owner asked our team to bring her back to life. We completed structural repairs, then began optimizing Peacemaker for ORC racing in the Long Island Sound. These modifications were aimed at increasing power and reducing weight. Initially designed as a high wind performer for regions like the Solent, Peacemaker is now a highly competitive buoy racing platform. 

Recent results include two consecutive BIRW wins, NYYC Annual regatta win, and successive wins in AYC Spring and Fall regattas. 

This racing thoroughbred rewards hard crew work and good decisions on the race track – but make no mistake – the magic doesn’t just happen
